Ask any expert or professional golfer and they will tell you to take lessons from a qualified professional as early as possible in your golf career. ‘Practise makes permanent’ not perfect – so make sure you are practising the correct things from the outset – otherwise you may become very good at doing it wrong! The Drivetime Basics of Golf Class provides a top quality, cost effective way for anyone new to golf or with very little experience to learn to strike the ball properly and develop some lasting fundamentals.

This 4 week group course (4 x 1 hour classes) is ideal for people who are new to the game or golfers who have never taken lessons from a qualified PGA Professional before. If you don’t know where to start or if you have read and watched instructional material but have been left confused, this course will teach you a solid playing technique and the best way to practice.

WHAT WILL I LEARN?
During this 4-week course you will learn –

• The basics of the correct hold and how to build the stance routine.
• The secrets of the correct swingpath and clubface control drastically improving the accuracy of your shots.
• Discover where power comes from and specific tips and drills to develop a powerful swing.
• Every class will systematically cover key principals of an ideal swing and be accompanied by specifically chosen drills and practise tips to accelerate your learning.
• You will also receive your own notes with blueprints for the correct stance and swing fundamentals covered in the course based on over 20 years of experience coaching beginners.
